between drafts started out as two separate blogs on Blogspot—the German language blog brand meets world for marketing & advertising and the English language blog collateral tales for storytelling & games. Which, after migrating to a self-hosted WordPress blog, morphed into two of the blog’s original categories that were completely overhauled in 2026.
The blog’s new categories comprise private and professional personal stuff (Chronicles); game design, writing, and narrative techniques (Blueprints); movie, book, music, and art reviews (Reflections); technology and enshittification (Propagations); society and zeitgeist (Crossroads); and media and advertising (Occupations). Plus, there’s my Secret Level just drafts where I’ve tried out many fun things over the years.
